Not always. Renovation may include renovation and usage improvements in a broader sense. Restoration, on the other hand, is a more sensitive process, especially in terms of preserving the existing architectural value, documenting the original details and choosing appropriate intervention methods.

Roof and dome water intake points, minaret cracks, facade surfaces, joints, windows and doors, interior plaster and pencil works, electrical-mechanical problems and traces of previous repairs are reviewed. If necessary, the need for an expert project and technical analysis is determined.

Solutions that do not damage the existing surface, are compatible with its physical properties and do not spoil the character of the building in appearance should be preferred. Especially when performing waterproofing or coating, simply covering the surface without solving the source of the problem may not provide permanent results.

Restoration works can be carried out in stages. Dismantling, surface preparation, repair and renewal steps are checked and the suitability of the completed section for the next work item is monitored in the field.
